
St Joseph’s School, Opunakē was founded by our RNDM Sisters in 1901 and will be having a 125th Jubilee celebration on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd of October this year.
Below is the programme currently planned.
Thursday 22nd October:
School Mass led by Father Tom Lawn followed by cake cutting and cup of tea for visitors/past students/student leadership team, principal, priest and maybe 3 students from each year group.
A Kapa Haka Performance from our Puanga Group
(Fellowship, mix and mingle time)

Friday 23rd October:
Agriculture Day Gala Event (known as Lamb and Calf Day in other schools)
Open classrooms. 125-year-old themed creativity models/art/craft/cakes on display in classrooms
