TANZANIA – New Foundation – Pastoral Care and Faith Formation
Pastoral Care, Faith Formation and Integral Human Development of Children, Youth and Families
Inspired by the vision of the diocese of Lindi, the sisters of Our Lady of the Missions (RNDM) in Mitwero, Lindi, Tanzania commit to create a vibrant and missionary Church that nurtures faith, promotes human dignity, strengthens families, empowers youth, and witness to the Gospel through service, justice and peace. We live the call to be a Presence of Hope proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus through evangelization, faith formation, pastoral care, education, social development and the promotion of human dignity for all.
To make the ministry more effective and sustainable, we also aim to improve transportation facilities, increase pastoral and educational resources, and strengthen collaboration with the local Church, schools, and community leaders in responding to the evolving needs of children and youth in Lindi Diocese. We commit to journeying together as a Synodal Church in Faith, Hope and Integral Human Development. We would also wish to include programs and activities that continue to promote care for our Common Home through environmental education, conservation, and community participation.

PHILIPPINE REGION – Livestock Dispersal for Livelihood Enhancement
Sen. Ninoy Aquino (Kulaman), Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao
The Livestock Dispersal for Livelihood Enhancement Project aims to improve the socioeconomic well-being of economically disadvantaged Menubu Dulangan families by providing livestock as a sustainable source of income, nutrition and livelihood. Through the distribution of suitable livestock such as goats, pigs, poultry or other locally appropriate animals, families will have the opportunity to develop small-scale livestock enterprises that can generate regular income and contribute to household food security. The families have already the basic knowledge of caring for animals.
A “pass-on” mechanism may be adopted whereby the participants return offspring for redistribution to other families, thereby, expanding the project’s impact and promoting community solidarity.
